ST. MARY’S CLASS OF 1957 HOLDS 50-YEAR REUNION

 

Fifty years ago, St. Mary’s Academy graduated 18 young men and women, and on August 11, 13 of the remaining 14 classmates attended a reunion at the Little Falls Best Western to celebrate, bringing with them spouses and invited guests.

The reunion began with a social hour, followed by a champagne toast and dinner. Classmates met again for mass in memory of their departed peers, followed by a breakfast buffet at the Best Western the following day.

Attending were John and Joanne Lawyer of Florida, Ron and Joanne De Piazza of New Mexico, John and Kathy Manley of Connecticut, Joe and Kelly Falk of Waterville, Florence Mullin of Florida, John and Isabelle Federico Murphy of Tennessee, Jim and Barbara Fitzgerald Gloeckner of Virginia, John and Denise Sullivan Moore of Manlius, Kaz and Eleanor Grande Karpowich of Mohawk and Sarah Colwell Nobile of Mohawk. Local attendees were Tom and Ginny Shaver, Nancy Bonanni Tretola, John and Louise Lefebore Ferraro and John and Marilyn Dunn George.

The class will meet again for a similar reunion in five years.
