Little Falls Miners Host Families Needed For the 2008 Season

Host a Miner!
Are you interested in having an impact on a young man's life, possibly his professional career? Do you love baseball?

You May be Perfect as A Miner Host Parent/Family!

During the Summer 2008, approximately 25 young men will move to the Little Falls area for the summer to play for the Little Falls Miners. From approximately June 5th through August 8th, these young, aspiring ballplayers hone their baseball skills by playing 40 games in 51 days. Players come from all over the United States to participate in the New York Collegiate Baseball League and be a part of the Little Falls Miners baseball team.

Having the players become a part of a local family helps these young men have some sense of normalcy in a strange new city. Many of the players become more than a guest, they actually become part of the family.
