Growing Up on The Southside  1957 – 1970

WHEN: Saturday August 12, 2017  (Water, sunglasses, hat, sun tan lotion, comfortable shoes)

10:30AM  Until  12:30 PM?  Flexibility based upon pace of attendees and stamina.

Special Needs:  NOTE: Walk includes unpaved dirt paths, uneven surfaces, climbing up and down open stair gratings at heights, hot temperatures outdoors, etc.  Moderate to vigorous physical activity.  Water, sunglasses, hat, sun tan lotion, comfortable shoes are highly recommended.

PETS: Generally not recommended, as we do come across pets along the way that are not under owner command or leash.

WHAT: The “Tour” will focus on growing up on the Southside from 1957 to 1970 with a theme that this was not “Leave It To Beaver”; “Ozzie and Harriet”, “My Three Sons”; “Donna Reed”, etc. but a very different and special experience. Entertaining history!

AUDIENCE:   Anyone with an interest in the 60’s, the Southside, or those from the Northside who never understood us, or those not from Little Falls who married Little Falls Southsiders, or their adult children!  Some “adult?” content or described behavior may not be suitable for children.

The actual walking path will be determined in advance and start at Ann Street Market, and participants may drop off as convenient for their schedule or stamina.  The complete tour will end back at the Ann Street Market.

From Lock 17 up to the end of Southern Ave.  All of the Streets listed below may be changed.
