LITTLE FALLS TIMES, DEWITT, NY – Community Bank Wealth Management’s Paul Restante, Class of 1979, has claimed the No. 1 spot on Bank Investment Consultant magazine’s list of the nation’s top 20 program managers.  The national publication features the Little Falls native on the cover.

Restante is the managing director for Community Bank Wealth Management Group, assisting individuals and business owners with investments, insurance and trust services.

The son of Mario and Delores Restante of Little Falls, he joined the company in 2010.

The list, which Restante has appeared on before – though never in the top position – takes into account six criteria, including growth of team assets, growth of team annual production, average production per advisor, number of full-time advisors the program manager directly supervises and the number of licensed branch employees under their supervision.

Restante is also lauded for his ability to advance into the new technological landscape while still emphasizing personal human contact in business interactions.

“We couldn’t be more proud of Paul,” said Scott Kingsley, Community Bank’s chief financial officer, in a news release.  “The list goes from coast to coast and the fact that both he and our program were singled out is a huge accomplishment.”

During his 32 years in investment services, Restante has recruited and developed several high-performing wealth management professionals in the insurance and banking industries.

His performance previously earned him a distinguished leader award from the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors – Syracuse, of which he has served as president.

He holds positions on several community and industry boards, including Young Life, serving on its golf committee board.

Following his time at LFHS, he graduated from Clarkson University, where he majored in marketing and finance.

Restante currently lives in Manlius with his wife Jane and they have two children, Anthony, a graduate of Oneonta College, and Alexa, a student at Oswego State.

Restante is an avid long distance runner and also enjoys water skiing, snow skiing, golf and cooking.

He is the brother of Sherry Restante Kreuitzer, Class of 1977, of Sarasota, Florida.
